Movies and Drinking: Scott Pilgrim vs. the World → moviesanddrinking.tumblr.com

moviesanddrinking:

Buzz

For every video game reference, take a drink.

Every time a new ex shows up, take a shot.

Blackout

For every actual “X” you see, take a drink.

Whenever you see or hear the number two, take two drinks.

Any time you think, “what the hell?/what the fuck?/huh?/etc.”, take three drinks.

“That’s the thing I want to make clear about depression: It’s got nothing at all to do with life. In the course of life, there is sadness and pain and sorrow, all of which, in their right time and season, are normal — unpleasant, but normal. Depression is an altogether different zone because it involves a complete absence: absence of affect, absence of feeling, absence of response, absence of interest. The pain you feel in the course of a major clinical depression is an attempt on nature’s part (nature, after all, abhors a vacuum) to fill up the empty space. But for all intents and purposes, the deeply depressed are just the walking, waking dead.” —Prozac Nation by Elizabeth Wurtzel (via thechocolatebrigade)

on posts about hot women

it is quite possible to find women hot without objectifying them. for me, hotness isn’t just about looks, it’s also about actions and personality. being badass is hot. doing incredibly selfless and heroic things is hot. being exceptionally, embarrassingly nerdy is hot.

i’m sick of seeing tons of posts and blogs about women which totally strip them of their humanity and boil them down to nothing but shapes and textures.

that’s one of the reasons why i run wenches.tumblr.com. it isn’t about objectifying women, it’s about celebrating women. i don’t post pictures of models or of a specific bod type or just of women with overwhelming amounts of cleavage - i look for pictures of women who either look like they’re having a fucking blast, or who are wearing exceptionally epic costumes. when people are having fun, they’re not posing or really trying to be beautiful. granted, i do post some women who are posing, but none of the photos i find are from photo shoots, they’re all, for the most part, candid - or at least shot on the fly.

women as people are much more interesting and beautiful than women as objects of physical gratification.

probably not allowed.. i dont even know who to talk to about that.. like who do you ask if you can get married at disney? whos that guy? or can you and your betrothed just walk in there with a judge/priest what have you, and just get married real fast and none's the wiser...

There’s actually a Disney weddings organization, and they have a branch at every park. http://disneyweddings.disney.go.com/
